Bistable Gripper

A smart gripper gripper powered by shape memory alloys for industrial applications.

This gripper can grip objects without requiring any energy. Energy is only used to switch between the open and closed states

By using shape memory alloys the gripper has been miniaturised and fits into a foot print of 110x34x26 mm.
